Professor Yaakov Stern has been in Australia speaking at the Optimising Healthy Brain Ageing Symposium, explaining the concept of Cognitive Reserve and explaining that dementia prevention strategies can help protect the brain reserve, but that the extent to which it will delay the onset of Alzheimer's will vary from person-to-person.
